A Gentle Reminder: You’re Doing Your Best 💛
Rebecca Whitrow | NOV 25, 2025
As November winds down and the season grows darker and quieter, many of us begin to feel the weight of our inner world a little more deeply.
And with the holidays approaching — the planning, the expectations, the emotional load, the “do more, be more, give more” energy — it’s no wonder so many women feel stretched thin this time of year.
We move through the days holding so much together for everyone else.
We take care of a dozen invisible tasks.
We carry the emotional temperature of the home.
We worry about things no one even notices.
And yet, we still criticize ourselves for not doing enough.
But here’s the truth I want you to hold close today:
Be gentle with yourself.
You’re doing your best.
You are navigating a lot — mentally, emotionally, and physically.
You show up for so many people.
You give your heart in ways that others rarely see.
And you deserve the same tenderness you offer so freely to everyone around you.
Try this when you need a moment of softness:
1️⃣ Roll up a blanket and place it lengthwise on the mat or your bed.
2️⃣ Sit at the very edge so the blanket runs along your spine.
3️⃣ Gently lie back, letting your chest open and your arms fall out to the side like wings.
4️⃣ Take a few slow breaths.
Stay for 1–2 minutes.
Let your heart open — gently, safely, without forcing.
Please remember:
You don’t have to do everything.
You don’t have to do it perfectly.
You don’t have to carry the whole season on your shoulders.
You are worthy of rest.
You are worthy of compassion.
You are worthy of care — especially from yourself.
Take care of yourself,
