At times it's easy to get swept away by worry & negative thoughts, losing touch with the present moment. This week, let's try to practice the art of noticing - paying attention to your thoughts and bringing mindfulness in your day.

To begin...

Noticing Your Thoughts: Take a moment right now to notice your thoughts. Are they racing ahead to the future, or lingering in the past? Simply observe them, without judgment. Your thoughts are like clouds passing through the sky of your mind - they come and go. By noticing them, you can create space between yourself and your thoughts, allowing you to respond more consciously to the present moment.

Noticing and Redirecting: When you notice your mind wandering, gently redirect your attention back to the present moment. You can do this by focusing on your breath, or by engaging your senses. This practice of noticing and redirecting can help you stay more present and attentive in your daily life.

Noticing the Present Moment: In every moment, there is an opportunity to notice the beauty around you. Take a moment to look up at the sky, listen to the sounds of nature, or feel the ground beneath your feet. By grounding yourself in the present moment, you can bring a sense of calm and clarity to your mind.

Try incorporating these practices into your daily routine to help you feel a greater sense of mindfulness and presence. Remember, the practice is in the noticing - the more you practice, the more mindful you will become.
