You are likely juggling a lot of responsibilities and taking care of everyone else's needs before your own.

It's important to remember that taking care of yourself is essential for your well-being and your ability to care for others.

One way to ensure that you're making time for self-care is to schedule it, just like you would schedule an appointment or meeting.

Scheduling self-care time is so important because:

It makes it a priority: When you schedule self-care time, you're making it a priority in your life. You're giving it the same importance as you would a doctor's appointment or a work meeting. This can help you feel more motivated and committed to following through with your self-care routine.

It helps you stick to a routine: By scheduling self-care time at the same time each day or week, you're more likely to stick to your routine. For example, if you schedule a 10-minute meditation practice in the morning, a Tuesday night yoga class or walk on your lunch break, you're more likely to do it consistently than if you just try to fit it in whenever you have a spare moment.

It reduces stress: When you have a busy schedule, it can be stressful to try to fit everything in. By scheduling self-care time, you're reducing that stress and giving yourself a dedicated time to relax and recharge.

This can help you feel more calm and centered throughout the day.

So, how can you schedule self-care time? Here are a few tips:

Start small: You don't need to schedule hours of self-care time each day. Start with just a few minutes and gradually build up as you get more comfortable with the routine. I think to call these self care minutes

Be consistent: Try to schedule self-care time at the same time each day or week. This can help you make it a habit and stick to your routine.

Choose activities you enjoy. Self-care looks different for everyone. Choose activities that you enjoy and that help you feel relaxed and recharged. This could be anything from meditation and yoga to reading or taking a walk in nature.

Remember, taking care of yourself isn't selfish. It's an important part of being a happy, healthy, and balanced mom. So, make self-care a priority by scheduling it into your routine.
