Life is busy & it can be hard to find time for yourself amidst the demands of family, work and other responsibilities, especially when you are going through challenging times.

However, prioritizing self-care is crucial for your well-being and can help you feel more balanced, energized, and present for yourself and your loved ones.

Here are some tips for making self-care a priority, even when you feel busy or overwhelmed:

  1. Schedule self-care time: Just like you schedule appointments or meetings, schedule time for self-care. This could be as simple as 10 minutes of meditation in the morning or a yoga class after work. By making it a priority, you're more likely to follow through and stick to your routine.

  1. Create a self-care plan: Identify the self-care practices that work best for you and create a plan that incorporates them into your daily or weekly routine. Your plan could include things like exercise, journaling, reading, or spending time in nature. Be realistic and flexible, and adjust your plan as needed to fit your schedule and needs.

  1. Enlist help: Don't be afraid to ask for help from family, friends, or a babysitter so that you can take time for yourself. This might mean asking someone to watch the kids while you do an on demand yoga class, or delegating some household chores so that you have more time for self-care.

Remember, self-care isn't selfish. It's an essential part of your overall well-being and can help you be a better mom, partner, and friend. By prioritizing self-care, you're taking an important step towards a more balanced, fulfilling life.

Take care of yourself,

Rebecca
